Trolley Strengthened, Panels Cut, Cladding Installed Steadily

early panel installation

A slightly breezy but warm and, crucially, dry day allowed work to continue outside—always a bonus this late in the year.
Progress on the trolley project continued, with strengthening angles added to the roof and work beginning on the cross‑supports for the timber floorboards. Nearby, cleaning of the dough‑wagon chassis carried on using an air needle gun and electric wire brush.
Wall cladding on the new shed also moved forward. Large timber panels salvaged from the power station were cut in half, lifted into position above the window line, and fixed securely. Timber trims were then prepared to cover the horizontal joints, and the tarpaulin roof sheets were repositioned and re‑fixed to meet the new upper edge. Two of the six required panels were installed—good progress given that the team was refining the method as they worked.
In the workshop, various fixings were sorted and reorganised, ready to be returned to the woodworking area where they belong.
A productive day with steady, visible progress across multiple tasks.
