All journeys start from and return to Long Walk Station. With a round trip to Powdermill Cut Station and back, including allowing 20 minutes for a guided tour of the Railway Works, the journey typically takes 1 hour.
NOTE: The 3rd train of the day, the 15:05, is optional and only runs based on visitor requirements / needs and is not guaranteed to run.
To ride on the Gunpowder Railway you need a ticket to visit the Royal Gunpowder Mills site – which includes the railway. The timetable listed above is subject to operational changes at any point (e.g. engine failure) and please be aware that the last train does depart before the wider site closes.
