NOTE: This is a Special Service that runs on Kids Activity Days.
All journeys start from and return to Long Walk Station. With a round trip to Powdermill Cut Station and back, typically taking 40 minutes. There is no access to the Railway Works or Museum, as the train turns around and immediately departs back to Long Walk station.
To ride on the Gunpowder Railway you need a ticket to visit the Royal Gunpowder Mills site – which includes the railway. The timetable listed above is subject to operational changes at any point (e.g. engine failure) and please be aware that the last train does depart before the wider site closes.
