Getting here:
Location: Royal Gunpowder Mills, Beaulieu Drive, Waltham Abbey, Essex, EN9 1JY. Entrance at top north end of Beaulieu Drive.
By Road: From J25 of M25 go to Waltham Cross and then A121 to Waltham Abbey; or from J26 of M25, take A121, taking care to get into the right-hand lane when approaching the traffic junction at Meridian Way, and continue straight ahead into Beaulieu Drive.
Car Parking: There are approximately 150 parking spaces plus coach parking facilities.
By Rail: Trains to Waltham Cross and Theobalds Grove, connecting London Liverpool Street, Stratford or Tottenham Hale underground (Victoria Line) to/from Cheshunt / Broxbourne / Hertford East. We are a 25 minute walk east from Waltham Cross station. You can take a bus from outside the station. Turn right out of the station, go under the road bridge, up the stairs, turn left and you will see the bus stop just ahead.
By Bus: Nearest bus stop is Highbridge Street Roundabout which is served by the following local buses: 14, 22, 22C, 66, 66A, 86, 211, 212, 251
Pedestrian: The site is a 10 minute walk west from Waltham Abbey Town Centre.
By Underground: Loughton station (central line) – Bus 66 towards Debden.
Accessibility: We have a specially adapted railway carriage that runs in every train. Across the site, The Royal Gunpowder Mills is accessible to wheelchairs and buggies with level access/slopes to most buildings and accessible toilets.
Children: Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult or guardian at all times.
Dogs: Assistance dogs are welcome but currently other pets need to stay at home.
